Here they were blacked as well, which leaves the dial to carry every bit of colour on its own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat dial is painted by hand from edge to edge: deep violet and indigo marbling, split by molten veins of orange, yellow and red, with pale lilac cloud drifting in towards seven, eight and nine o'clock. Three black counters sit over it at three, six and nine, each in a thin polished steel rim, and the painting carries on through the middle of every one.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hands read as dark shapes laid over the colour. The hour markers are black-centred batons in thin gunmetal frames. The bezel is polished to a mirror, and its tachymeter scale is engraved and filled black, so the numerals only appear when light crosses them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt runs on a \u003cstrong\u003ehigh-precision automatic chronograph movement\u003c\/strong\u003e, self-winding with no battery, and both pushers work the counters in full.
