40MM FORGED CARBON · GRADUATED STONE BEZEL · CHRONOGRAPH
A Bezel That Runs Red To Champagne
Not one colour repeated forty times. A gradient, set stone by stone.
Most stone-set bezels pick a colour and go round with it. This one starts at deep red, moves through magenta and pink, warms into orange, and finishes pale champagne — square-cut stones laid in order so the change is continuous rather than stepped.
The effect is that the watch never looks the same twice. Turn your wrist toward a window and the reds fire; turn it away and the champagne end takes over. It behaves like a sunset does, which is the only honest way to describe it.
Setting a gradient is harder than setting a colour. Every stone has to sit in sequence, and one out of order is visible from across a table.

THE ROSE GOLD RING
Why The Dial Has A Band Around It
The warm ring is what stops the bezel and the case looking like two different watches.
A black dial inside a coloured bezel is a hard edge — cold centre, hot rim, nothing joining them. This dial solves it with a wide band of rose gold between the two, picking up the warm end of the bezel and carrying it inward to the counters.
Once that band is there, the gold crown and the gold pushers stop looking like additions and start looking like the rest of the same idea. Cover the ring with a finger and the watch falls apart; it is doing more work than anything else on the face.
The three counters stay black, so the centre of the dial keeps its weight and the gold never tips into gaudy.
How This One Is Put Together
Carbon, then gold, then colour — in that order.
The Block
Chopped carbon fibre is pressed under heat into a solid billet. The marbling inside is decided before a single cut is made.
The Case
The 40mm case is machined out of that billet, exposing a cross-section of the grain that exists on no other piece.
The Gradient
Square-cut stones are set into the gold bezel ring in sequence, red through pink to champagne, so the colour change reads as continuous.
Dial And Ring
The black centre is fitted inside its rose gold band, the three counters recessed, and the baguette markers set — clear stones, with orange at four positions.
Strap And Check
The blush woven strap goes on, the movement is regulated and timed, and the watch is inspected by hand before it is boxed.

Why People Stop You For This One
Carbon conversions with a graduated stone bezel are commissioned one at a time and priced past a small car. This keeps the forged carbon case, the gradient bezel and the rose gold dial ring, and asks $949.
THE BLACK AND ROSE GOLD SPEC
40mm forged carbon, graduated stone bezel, black dial inside a rose gold ring, three counters, gold crown and pushers on a blush woven strap. Hand-inspected, boxed for presentation, backed for two years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the bezel stones all the same colour?
Are the bezel stones all the same colour?
No — that is the point of this one. They run in sequence from deep red through magenta and pink into orange and champagne, so the bezel changes colour as it goes round.
Is the carbon pattern printed on?
Is the carbon pattern printed on?
No. Chopped carbon fibre is pressed into a solid block and the case is cut from it, so the swirl is a cross-section of the material itself. Every case comes out different.
Is the rose gold ring part of the dial?
Is the rose gold ring part of the dial?
Yes, it is a band on the dial itself, sitting between the black centre and the bezel. It is under the crystal, not on top of it.
Does the chronograph actually work?
Does the chronograph actually work?
Yes. The two pushers start, stop and reset the counters — a working chronograph, not decorative sub-dials.
How does the velcro strap fit?
How does the velcro strap fit?
It adjusts anywhere along its length rather than in fixed holes, so it sits exactly where you want it on any wrist and takes a second to put on.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. The movement winds itself from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and a few turns or a few minutes of wear starts it again.
How long does delivery take?
