BLACK FORGED CARBON · RAINBOW STONE BEZEL · YELLOW GOLD · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
A Rainbow Held In Yellow Gold
One row of coloured stones, the whole spectrum, between two gold rims.
A rainbow bezel is all about the stones, and what holds them changes the whole watch.
Here every stone is a baguette-cut coloured gemstone, set edge to edge in one row with no gaps: red at twelve, warming through orange into yellow at three, cooling through green and blue to violet at eight, then purple and pink back up to red. They sit between two yellow-gold rims, and a polished gold ring runs between them and the dial.
The gold carries on past the bezel. The crown and both pushers are yellow gold, standing out against the black carbon flank, and the counters, the hands and the print on the dial are gold as well. The case itself is one-piece carbon fibre, charcoal black with a grey swirl through the material.

THE DIAL
Eleven Stones And Three Gold Counters
A glossy black dial that picks up the bezel's colours hour by hour.
The dial is glossy black, so the colour has somewhere dark to sit.
Its hour markers are stones as well, each in a thin gold setting: long baguettes at most hours, small square stones at three, six and nine. They follow the bezel round, orange at one, yellow at three, green at five, blue at seven, violet at eight, pink at nine and magenta at eleven, so the colour runs from the edge of the watch into the dial.
Three counters sit on the black in textured champagne gold, mottled in paler and deeper patches like hammered metal, each inside a polished gold ring and printed in black. The hour and minute hands are gold with white lume, the chronograph hand a thin gold line, and the counter hands black.
How The Gold Rainbow Comes Together
A carbon case, a ring of coloured stones and a black dial, fitted in gold.
The Carbon Case
The case is formed in one piece of carbon fibre, the grey swirl running through the material, then finished matt.
The Stones In Order
The baguette stones are laid out by colour, red through the spectrum and back to red, so the rainbow runs round without a jump.
Set In Gold
They are set edge to edge between two yellow-gold rims, with a polished gold ring inside them.
The Black Dial
Eleven coloured stones go onto the glossy black dial in gold settings, matching the bezel, with the three champagne-gold counters between them.
Gold Crown, Gold Hands
The gold hands go on, the dial is fitted under sapphire crystal with the 4130 automatic chronograph movement behind it, and the gold crown and pushers complete the flank.

Why The Gold Version Stands Out
Set a rainbow in steel and it reads cool; set it in yellow gold and every colour warms up. Put that bezel on a black carbon case, carry the gold into the crown, the pushers and the counters, and the black dial has something bright to hold. It asks $999.
THE GOLD RAINBOW SPEC

Inspected by hand, boxed for presentation, and covered for two years.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the stones on the bezel?
What are the stones on the bezel?
Baguette-cut coloured gemstones, set edge to edge in one row all the way round, in a yellow-gold setting. They run the whole spectrum, red at twelve through orange, yellow, green, blue, violet and pink, and back to red.
How is it different from your other rainbow-bezel carbon chronograph?
How is it different from your other rainbow-bezel carbon chronograph?
That one sets its stones in steel and has a black crown and pushers, red hands, bright gold-leaf counters and a black rubber strap. This one sets them in yellow gold, with a gold crown and pushers, gold hands, mottled champagne-gold counters and a black woven strap with tan stitching.
Is the case painted black?
Is the case painted black?
No. It is one-piece carbon fibre, black with a grey swirl running through the material. Nothing is sprayed over it, so the grain on your case will fall differently from the one in the photographs.
What do the counters do?
What do the counters do?
The pushers beside the crown start, stop and reset the central chronograph hand. The counter at three records the minutes it has run, the counter at nine the hours, and the counter at six shows the running seconds.
What is the strap made of?
What is the strap made of?
High-density woven fabric, finer than the coarse perforated straps sold elsewhere, with tan stitching down both edges and a genuine leather lining. It closes on an integrated carbon-fibre buckle.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. It runs on the 4130 automatic chronograph movement, which winds itself from the movement of your wrist.
How long does delivery take?
