40MM FORGED CARBON · CARBON TACHYMETER BEZEL · CHRONOGRAPH
One Yellow Counter On A Red And Black Dial
It breaks the symmetry deliberately. That is the whole design.
Two of the three counters are red. The third, at six o'clock, is yellow — and nothing else on the dial is. It is not an accident and it is not a mismatch.
Racing liveries have used the trick for decades: one panel in the odd colour so a car can be picked out of a pack at two hundred miles an hour. On a wrist it does the same job in a room full of people.
The seconds hand is yellow too. Everything else is black, steel or red, so that single stroke sweeping the face is the thing your eye follows — and the only part of the watch that moves quickly enough to catch it.

NO METAL ON THE OUTSIDE
Case And Bezel, Both Carbon
Most carbon watches are carbon with a metal ring on the front. This one is not.
The usual compromise is a carbon case with a steel or ceramic bezel, because a bezel is easier to make in metal and easier to print on. It also breaks the material at the most visible point on the watch.
Here the bezel is cut from the same forged carbon as the case, so the marbled grain runs continuously from the side of the watch around the front. There is no join and no change of material anywhere you can see.
The tachymeter scale is laid into that carbon in white — the scale that turns elapsed seconds into speed over a measured distance, and the reason the bezel is there at all.
How This One Is Put Together
One material outside, three colours inside.
The Block
Chopped carbon fibre is pressed under heat into a solid billet, the swirl fixed before machining begins.
Case And Bezel
Both are cut from that same billet, so the grain runs unbroken from the case side around the front of the watch.
The Tachymeter
The white scale is laid into the carbon bezel — 400 down to 60, the numbers that convert elapsed seconds into speed.
The Odd Counter
Two red counters go in at three and nine, the yellow one at six, and the yellow chronograph hand is fitted to the centre.
Strap And Check
The black strap with its red stitching is fitted, the movement timed, and the watch inspected by hand before boxing.
2-Year Warranty. 30-Day Refund.
Wear it for a month. If it is not what you expected, send it back for a full refund — no conditions, no restocking fee.
Why It Reads As A Racing Watch
A full carbon case and bezel with a three-colour racing dial is a commission piece elsewhere, priced accordingly. This keeps all of it and asks $949.
THE RED RACING SPEC
40mm forged carbon case and carbon tachymeter bezel, black and red dial with two red counters and one yellow, yellow chronograph hand, black strap with red stitching. Hand-inspected, boxed for presentation, backed for two years.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the tachymeter bezel for?
What is the tachymeter bezel for?
It converts elapsed time into speed. Start the chronograph as you pass a marker, stop it a measured distance later, and the number the hand points to is your average speed over that distance.
Why is one counter a different colour?
Why is one counter a different colour?
Because it is meant to be. Racing liveries put one panel in an odd colour so the car can be identified at speed, and the yellow counter does the same thing for the dial.
Is there any metal on the outside of the case?
Is there any metal on the outside of the case?
No. The case and the bezel are both cut from the same block of forged carbon, so the grain runs continuously and there is no metal ring at the front.
Does the chronograph actually work?
Does the chronograph actually work?
Yes. The two pushers start, stop and reset the counters — a working chronograph, not decorative sub-dials.
Is the red stitching on the strap durable?
Is the red stitching on the strap durable?
It is stitched through the woven band rather than printed on, so it wears at the same rate as the strap itself.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. The movement winds itself from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and wearing it starts it again.
How long does delivery take?
