RED FORGED CARBON · BLACK CARBON BEZEL · TELEMETRE DIAL · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
A Red Case That Shows Its Layers
Fine black lines run along the flanks, close and even, where the layers of the carbon meet.
Most red watches are red on the surface: paint or a coating over something else, and a hard knock on a corner shows what is underneath.
This case is red forged carbon. It is built up in layers, and where the case is cut across them the edges surface as thin black lines. Along the flanks they run close and parallel, like the contour lines on a map; over the lugs, where the case curves, they loosen and wave. The lines on your case will fall differently from the ones in the photographs.
The bezel is the only dark part of the case: black forged carbon marbled in grey, with the tachymeter scale printed in white. The crown and both pushers are polished steel, the pushers knurled for grip.

THE DIAL
Silver Counters On A Red Dial
A red face inside a white telemetre ring, with three silver counters and bold black numerals.
The dial is the same bright red as the case, so the face and the flanks read as one colour, held apart only by the black bezel. Around it runs a broad white telemetre ring, printed in black with TELEMETRE at twelve and 1km beside it, and outside that a narrow red track of fine black strokes.
The hours are bold black Arabic numerals; at three, six and nine they give way to the counters. Each counter is silver, turned with fine concentric circles and drawn over in thin black lines, inside a red ring with white numerals and a raised polished steel rim.
The hour and minute hands are polished steel, each with a black stripe and a white luminous block near the tip, and they read clearly against both the red and the silver.
How The Red Telemetre Dial Comes Together
A red face, a white ring and three silver counters, fitted inside a red carbon case.
The Red Face
The dial is finished in the same bright red as the case, so the two read as one colour once the watch is assembled.
The Telemetre Ring
A broad white ring goes round the edge, printed in black with TELEMETRE at twelve, with a narrow red track of fine black strokes outside it.
Three Counters
The counters at three, six and nine are silver, turned with fine circles, each in a red ring with white numerals and a raised polished steel rim.
Numerals And Hands
The bold black Arabic hour numerals go on, then the polished steel hands with their black stripes and white lume.
Into The Red Case
The dial is fitted into the red carbon case under the black bezel, with the automatic chronograph movement behind it, and the light-grey canvas strap goes on.

Why It Stands Out In Red
A red case around a red dial could easily become one block of colour. The black carbon bezel draws a line round the face, the white telemetre ring frames the dial, and the silver counters give the eye somewhere to land. It asks $999.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the red case painted?
Is the red case painted?
No. It is red forged carbon. Look along the side and you will see thin black lines following the case, the edges of its layers. Paint would cover them.
Why is the bezel black?
Why is the bezel black?
To frame the dial. With a red case and a red dial, the black forged-carbon bezel draws a dark ring between them, so the face reads as the centre of the watch.
What are the three counters?
