GREEN DIAL · CLEAR STONE BEZEL · GREEN CANVAS STRAP · QUARTZ CHRONOGRAPH
Deep Green, Printed In White
A cool deep green dial with white print, framed by a single ring of 36 clear baguette-cut stones.
The green here is deep and cool, smooth from the centre to the edge with a soft satin sheen. In some light it leans a little toward blue; it never turns turquoise or olive. All the print on it is white, so the dial reads crisp and clean, with one thin word in red above the six o'clock counter as the only other colour.
Around it, 36 clear baguette-cut stones are set edge to edge in a single ring, nine to each quarter, between two polished steel rims. Each one is step-cut, so it throws a bright glint from its centre as the wrist turns. Nothing is printed on the bezel; the stones are the whole of it.
The strap carries the green on: deep green woven canvas in a coarse basket weave, with darker green stitching along both edges and a black underside.

THE DIAL
Silver Counters On Green
Steel batons with white lume, three silver counters printed in black and a thin white chronograph hand.
A fine white track runs round the edge of the dial, a longer stroke and then four short ones, all the way round. Inside it, the hour markers are applied polished-steel batons filled with white lume, with small square markers at three, six and nine.
The three counters are silver, each a ring cut with fine concentric grooves around a centre in the dial's own green, with black strokes and black numerals. The one at nine reads 12, 3, 6 and 9, the one at three 10, 20 and 30, and the one at six 20, 40 and 60.
The hour and minute hands are polished steel with white lume, the counter hands slim polished steel, and the long central chronograph hand is white, with an arrow tip and a small teardrop counterweight. There is no date window: the dial is left clear.

Why The Green Works
Most stone-set chronographs go bright on the bezel and quiet on the dial. This one gives both room: clear stones in a single ring, and inside them a deep green dial with white print and silver counters, carried on through to a green canvas strap. It asks $499.
THE GREEN SPEC
